"The true teacher is not satisfied with second-rate work. He is not satisfied with directing his students to a standard lower than the highest which it is possible for them to attain."
Head Teacher 5th-8th Math & Science
I’m Jennifer Angeles. An experienced educator since 2004 with a degree in Mathematics education. It’s a pleasure to be an advocate for adventist education, leading our young people closer to Jesus.
Teacher K-4th Language Arts & Social Studies
My name is Kristie Smith. I am the homeroom teacher for grades K-4 and I teach K-8 Social Studies, K-4 Bible, and K-4 Language Arts. I count it a privilege to teach children about Jesus! I’m drawn to help children that struggle academically and I enjoy challenging students that are gifted. By teaching in small school I have the privilege to alter the curriculum to meet the academic needs of each child. With God’s help my goal is help every child succeed to their fullest potential.
Administrative Assistant/Treasurer PE and Arts Teacher
I am Tasha, I am excited to be part of SAA’s team of teachers and administration. Health, fitness, music, and art are my passions and being able to teach those subjects and have fun with the students while doing it is an honor. It is also awesome to be able to share Christ with our students, sharing the Blessed hope for this life.
My passion is helping young people learn to love Jesus more and become forever friends with Him. I want the children to have a fun and rewarding experience with music since it can be a powerful influence for good in their lives. Although my teaching career has mostly been with high school students, it gives me great joy to work with the staff and students at SAA.
I love reading and welcome your suggestions on topics that would help your child benefit from reading and books too.
"The Holy Scriptures are the perfect standard of truth, and as such should be given the highest place in education."
