Mission & Philosophy of Education

The Hub – Bringing students and their families to Jesus!

Goal – To make Adventist, Christian education available to anyone who wants it.

Mission

Through educating the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—Springs Adventist Academy trains students to become problem solvers, independent thinkers, and reflectors of Christ’s character. Excellent academics, experiential learning, and a strong spiritual foundation equip students to meet the challenges of our ever-changing world.

Philosophy of Education

Adventist education seeks to develop a life of faith in God and respect for the dignity of all human beings, build character akin to that of the Creator, and nurture thinkers rather than mere reflectors of others’ thoughts. Adventist education promotes loving service rather than selfish ambition, ensures maximum development of each individual’s potential, and embraces all that is true, good, and beautiful. An education of this kind imparts far more than academic knowledge. It fosters a balanced development of the whole person—physically, intellectually, socially, and spiritually. Working together, homes, schools, and churches cooperate with divine agencies in preparing learners for responsible citizenship in this world and in the world to come.

At Springs Adventist Academy, we value children as individuals. Each child is unique, so we don’t expect that they will learn the same way as others. Within our unique multigrade setting and small classes, students develop at a pace that is best for them. Differentiated instruction, project-based learning, and experiences outside the classroom ensure that each student receives an optimal learning experience.

Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
